I'm almost done with my required classes, so I finally got around to taking...gasp...art! It's hard work but very fun and engaging and I'm sorta bummed I didn't do this years and years ago. I think I find sculpture most exciting so far. The problem-solving is very different, and I am *building* something. Drawing is great too though, and given how well this term has gone I'm very seriously considering adding an art minor to my degree. Anyway, now there's a bunch of new stuff in my gallery and scrapbook if you want to see what I've been up to.

Last day before fall term starts and I've done exactly none of the things on my list for summer break. Here's to wildly successful procrastination!

Summer term is over, my grades are good, and I miss air conditioning. Now I have six weeks for all the creative things (and chores) I wanted to work on over the past 8 weeks but was too busy to do. Trying very hard to work on that to-do list instead of subscribing to WoW for a month, but it's hard. High on the list: finish all the books I started in spring, make a load of earrings to sell, and organize everything I own. Easy, right?
